☆ Turkey's Drone Maker Baykar Begins to Build Plant in Ukraine

Baykar has said it has signed export deals for its TB2 drone with 30 countries. These include Ukraine, Ethiopia, Libya and Azerbaijan since 2018, according to think tank SIPRI. Bayraktar also said the Istanbul-based firm's plans to start production in Saudi Arabia in the next two years were on track. The announcement follows an agreement in July to sell the Bayraktar Akinci, another kind of drone, to Saudi Arabia in what Baykar described as the biggest defence contract in Turkey's history. It also aims to produce the new models of the Kızılelma and the TB3 drones "in the tens," he added.

Under the proposal, Costa's shareholders would receive A$3.20 apiece for the remaining 85.16% stake PSP does not already own, lower than the A$3.50 apiece offer received in July. The latest offer still represents a 8.8% premium to Costa's last closing price. Costa, Australia's leading grower, packer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables, said it is considering the lower offer and is continuing to engage with PSP regarding the terms and conditions. PSP paid A$2.60 a share for a 13.78% stake in Costa in October, which it increased to 14.84% in late March. Costa had given PSP access to its books on a non-exclusive basis for eight weeks after receiving the initial offer in July.

Brent crude settled down 1 cent to $90.64 a barrel while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude settled down 22 cents to $87.29.
